The Department has specified infrastructure to fulfill the M.C.I regulations

Lecture Hall

There is a spacious Lecture theatre that accommodates 200 Students, and is equipped with audiovisual aids like L.C.D. Projector and Overhead Projector

Demonstration hall
There are two demonstration halls with a capacity to accommodate 50 Students in each.

Departmental Library-cum-Seminar Room
The departmental library is equipped with a wide range of informative and scientific books and journals related to Anatomy and allied sciences.

Practical laboratories

Direction Hall

There are two dissection halls each spread around 1500 sq ft well lit, which ensure adequate space for more than 200 students all at once. Cadaver preservation facilities like embalming room storage tank with washing area are provided adjacent to the dissection halls cold storage cabinet which accommodate 4 bodies is also available. The teaching / learning process is enhanced by extra aids like x-rays, MRI, CT Scan images, Skeletons, charts etc.
Special instruments other than routine dissection sets such as electric saw, brain knife etc.

Histology laboratory
The department has quite spacious and brightly-lit laboratory spread over an area of 1500 sq ft. it accommodates 75 students at a time. Students are provided with individual microscopes and slides during routine practical classes and a binocular microscope with CCTV attachment for the projection of slides on the TV monitor for teaching and demonstration. Colored printouts of labeled microscopic anatomy sections of all tissues are displayed for students for reference during the routine practical sessions. The Laboratory is well equipped with tissue processing instruments like, tissue embedder, microtome etc.

Research laboratory
The lab has enough facilities like microtome’s, incubators, Binocular microscopes and other instruments required for tissue culture etc

Museum

Hard work, dedicated research, commitment and perseverance of all the faculty members from time to time has shaped this renowned museum, which is one of the main attraction during medical exhibition which is conducted once in five years. It displays sections of human body, fetuses, radiographs, skeletons, developmental anatomy models, etc.. There are interesting models, charts and photographs of Neuroanatomy. The museum is open between 9am to 4pm and apart from catering to the needs of students and staff of our institution, it does for the public, school children and college students who visit the institution.
